On Sunday, December 11th, the Running Club and PE Department of The English School participated in the Quantum Nicosia Marathon.
A total of 27 students participated in the event, with 26 students running the 5K race and 1 participating in the 7.7-mile race. They were joined by 7 staff members, with 2 competing in the 5K race and 5 running in the 7.7-mile race.
The weather was nearly perfect for the event, and many of the participants were able to improve their personal best times. Philip Georghiades coordinated the participation of the students and staff, and we would like to extend our thanks to him for his efforts.
