EYP Club Inter-School Mini Session 7th of December 2019 at The English School

The EYP Club Inter-School Mini Session officially came to an end. 92 delegates from 4 different schools exchanged their innovative ideas and debated their fruitful resolutions in The English School Hall.

With each committee passionately addressing the current issues of today trying to find constructive solutions to major problems, we can for sure support that EYP empowers and inspires the youth to be open-minded, tolerant and active citizens.

Firstly, thank you to our EYP co-ordinator at the school, Ms Virginia Rengel-Kefala, for having the idea and making into practice, the first Nicosia Inter-school hosted by the English School.
Another big thank you to the Members of the Board: Presidents Athina Stavrou and Emily Vrahimi, Vice-President and Jury Androniki Charalambous and Cleopatra Pieridis who have helped in the successful coordination of the debate and aided in every aspect of the event sharing their knowledge and ideas

Our wonderful Chairs from year 7, Togay_Ata Gokalp, Chloe Tserioti Emily Katerina Wallerstrom,  Emily Petrou, Konstantinos Paschalis, Lygia Kazamia and Marilia Magniti and Chairs from other schools have inspired and motivated our younger delegates while always being by their side: from the committee meetings to the podium.

We would moreover like to congratulate our lively and passionate delegates for the hours of work they put into making their resolutions and researching their topics while amazing us with their innovative ideas and productive debates

Of course, nothing would have been possible without the assistance and hard work of our organisers. A huge thank you to our Head Organiser Danae Xanthi for putting so much effort into organising and preparing everything for the session while carefully allocating the workload among all organisers who have been there providing crucial assistance throughout the Session: Maria Ioannides (co-head organiser), Marilia Patsalidou (sponsorship director), Aecaterini Loizidou and Lara Tokar (food and catering managers), Guzay Ozverir (graphics designer), Anna Themistokleous, Ulfet Basri and Pervin Kyriagdi (media team) and Anastasia
