The Biology department would like to congratulate our 6th-year student, Isabella Ioannidou.

She received the 3rd Prize at the European DNA Day Essay Contest 2021 of the European Society of Human Genetics with her essay on ‘Saving the Javan rhino; lessons for conservation?’.

Twenty-two countries submitted 194 essays and 13 videos this year which were judged and evaluated by 53 experts in the field.
