The English School U15 Girls Triumph Over Apollon Ladies 4-2

The English School U15 Girls’ football team continued their stellar season with an impressive 4-2 victory against a formidable Apollon Ladies side. The game showcased the team’s skill, determination, and teamwork as they maintained their unbeaten start.

The English School dominated the first half, racing to a 3-0 lead thanks to precise strikes from Maria Leandrou, Kyveli Matsi, and Nayia Stephanou. Their attacking prowess and defensive solidity kept Apollon Ladies at bay for much of the game.

Apollon Ladies mounted a spirited comeback in the second half, narrowing the score to 3-2 and putting pressure on The English School's defence. However, Nayia Stephanou rose to the occasion once more, delivering a powerful header that sealed the match at 4-2.

With this victory, the team remains firmly in the title race. Their next challenge comes against Omonoia FC, where they will aim for another win before heading into the Christmas break.
