As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, many countries and regions have imposed quarantines, entry bans and other restrictions for citizens and travellers this year making it impossible for the students of our Erasmus+ Club to travel abroad.

We were delighted to find out, though,  that there was a way to reduce distances and connect with students from other European countries - by engaging in two Etwinning projects i.e. 'Food is for Thought' and the 'European Cook Book Project' in collaboration with partner schools from all over Europe.

During the first term, our Erasmus+ students shared Winter and Christmas recipes with their European peers and had fun while cooking 'avgolemono' soup, and baking kourabiedes, melomakarona and vasilopita. They also found out what Christmas tastes like in Germany and Finland by baking traditional cookies.

Even though this year’s celebrations will be much smaller and spent at home with close family, it's still that special time of the year where cooking and baking is an easy and fun bonding activity for the whole family.

Try something new from proven Christmas recipes - we can't wait to get your feedback!

Joyeux Noel, Hyvää joulua, Feliz Navidad, Wesołych Świąt, Frohe Weihnachten and Merry Christmas to all!
