Anti-Poverty Week
Continuing The English School tradition of supporting the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, the Global Perspectives department is hosting the following events:
IGCSE Economics book by Brian Ellis for Year 5
The Solonieion Bookshop would like to inform Year 5 students they have in stock 80 copies of the IGCSE Economics book by Brian Ellis. 
Robotics Lecture
On Wednesday at 15:00 we have something special for our students.
We will be connecting to The University of Sheffield to talk about cutting edge robotics with Dr Dana Damian.
 
 
Open Day 2018
We will be holding an Open Day on Friday 19th October from 16.00-18.00 at the school. 
The 2018 Panos Tofarides Prize at University College London
We were delighted to hear that Georgios Nathanael (ESL17) was awarded the Panos Tofarides Prize for Excellence in Mathematics at the University College London.

We Care We Help, Target no1: Hope for Zacharias
The English School We Care We Help Team, are working together to give Hope to Zacharias.
 
Congratulation to Gregoris Orphanides (5B) and his team, for the outstanding achievement in Robotics.
Gregoris Orphanides is a student in 5 Black, and a member of the Epiteugma Engineering Overflow Team.  Other team members are Christos Soteriou, Michalis Pitsilis and Antreas Kourris from public high schools.

American University Washington has announced this year’s Paraskevaides Endowment Scholarship for ONE outstanding secondary school student from Cyprus.

The English School 2018 Graduate Wins Prestigious Oxford University Essay Prize!
We are extremely proud to announce the achievement of one of our recent graduates. Ibrahim Ince (ESL2018) has been awarded the Mary Renault essay prize by St Hugh’s College Oxford.
