News from our Debating Team
​The English School Debate Team headed off on April 5th to represent Cyprus at the World International Debate and Public Speaking Championships, held this year in Sydney, Australia. 
​Charity Event Thursday / Friday to support Anti-Cancer Society
Donations for the 42nd Christodoula March.  Our Year 1 and 2 students, will be collecting donations on Thursday, 6th and Friday 7th April.  Show your support!
Junior Achievement Cyprus just announced the 10 Finalists
The wait is over!  Junior Achievement Cyprus just announced (in alphabetical order) the ten student companies that will move to the final stage of the "Company of the Year" Competition. 
The English School’s “KLAK Robotics” Takes First in Robotics Challenge and Second Overall at Annual First Lego League Robotics Competition
Four Year 4 students participated in this year’s First Lego League Robotics Competition placing second overall and taking first place in the robotics challenge.

Genetics Genius quiz
For a fifth consecutive year, the Cyprus School of Molecular Medicine (CSMM), a School of the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics (CING) is hosting the CSMM Genius Genetics Quiz under the auspices of the Department of Secondary Education, of the Ministry of Education and Culture.

The Astronomy Club will be arranging activities for all to participate in, throughout the month, the club is an affiliate group of the global organisation "Astronomers Without Borders" http://astronomerswithoutborders.org/ 
Head Boy and Head Girl Elections Meet our Candidates
This week has been very busy at our school, with Head Boy and Head Girl elections starting on Tuesday, 28th March.  Two hustings were planned. One on Thursday, 30th March during period 2 and one on Friday, 31st March period 3.  We wish all the best to our candidates!

2017-2018 Year 1 Entrance Scholarships
We are delighted to announce our academic scholarships for Year 1 entry in September 2017, based on the applicants’ outstanding performance in the recent English School Entrance Examinations. The following three students were the top ranked candidates, from a very strong cohort.
