News from our Hope for Children Club
​Hope for Children club members Eleni Hadjiosif and Emily Kyriakidou (Year 4) were selected to write and present their own speech from the student's perspective on the topic "Integrating Information & Communication Technologies in the Classroom" at the 2nd National Forum on the Rights of the Child hosted by Hope for Children at the University of Nicosia on November 20th. 
Founder's Day prize-giving ceremony was on Friday, 9th November 2018.

Many of our students were awarded for their outstanding academic efforts at this year's Founder's Day prize-giving ceremony on the 9th November 2018. 

Year 4 Biology Students in action

Year 4 Biology students have put on their goggles, gloves and tested different food samples for the presence of starch, glucose, proteins and lipids.

Year 2 Founder's Day Commemorative Assembly - Monday, November 5th, 2018

Senior Girls Basketball Team
On Monday, 12th November 2018 our Senior Girls Basketball Team at 12.40 pm left for their first game at the Nicosia Basketball Competition.
Charity Car Wash
On Saturday 3rd of November, the ESL19 charity car wash took place at The English School, in order to raise money for the Stand by Greece campaign for “Hope for Children” supporting fire victims in Greece.

Did you know?
Table-tennis is a sport that can be played your whole life without putting any stress on your joints, if played for recreational purposes while providing exercise. The Guinness Book of World Record’s longest table-tennis tournament lasted 8 hours and 40 minutes. The participants were father and son Peter and Daniel Ives of England. The tournament lasted 32,000 total hits.
We Care We Help Club – Hope for little Zacharias
The teachers in charge of the We Care We Help Club, along with students’ members worked together to give hope to Zacharias.
