The Erasmus+ week in Portugal is coming to an end with our team of five Erasmus+ students having successfully participated in a number of activities organised by the Portuguese school Instituto Educativo do Juncal.

The six partner schools from Finland, Germany, Poland, Cyprus, Italy and Portugal have met for the 3rd time since the beginning of the project in September 2018 and worked on the Project's theme : Children's rights, the right to Education.
All teams shared the work already prepared at their home schools during the last three months and attended visits and workshops at NGOs or municipal associations taking care of immigrant or Roma children locally or in Lisbon. This was enlightening for our students who having got a taste from experience on the issue of the reality for children around Europe, are now aware of another dimension of their European citizenship and the responsibilities that it entails .
The Erasmus+ project has for one more time enabled our young learners to bond with their European peers, by staying in school Portuguese families and learning about  their way of living and culture.

The warm welcoming and hosting of families and school have ensured that all this is run smoothly and in a climate of enthusiasm for teamwork amongst  newly met international students, who are continuously prepared for their European future.
